We're b-a-a-a-c-c-k! We are so excited to announce our dates for GeekCraft Expo Seattle 2018: it's November 24 and 25 at Hangar 30 at Magnuson Park, and it's going to be bigger and better than ever! As always, we'll have the coolest and most original crafts, jewelry, apparel, toys, and more inspired by comics and pop culture (check out last year's exhibitor list), just in time for your holiday shopping!
Plus: if you received a preview email from us yesterday, we have an important correction (see the red text below).
If you joined us last year, you remember how packed the show floor was. And actually, because of that, we've made one small change: to keep our free, family-friendly show a great experience for everyone, we need attendees (not exhibitors) to pre-register for our event at Eventbrite. To reiterate:
GeekCraft Seattle 2018 is still free if you pre-register--we just need to make sure we keep the fire marshal happy, and attendance last year was HUGE.
If you don't pre-register, we will be charging a nominal fee of $2 at the door for those 12 & OVER.
Pre-registering is the only way to guarantee entrance!
We prefer to keep our nerdy craft shows free for all attendees--we want you to save your money for our rad exhibitors (and hoo boy, are you going to be happy this year). So reserve your spot at GeekCraft Expo Seattle 2018 now!
Did you know that Saturday, November 24 is Small Business Saturday, the non-corporate alternative to Black Friday . . . and it’s also the first day of our show? Why give your money to the big box stores when you can support local crafters and makers instead? GeekCraft Expo Seattle will have about 100 of them, all under one roof!
More Cool Stuff!
We'll have geeky, super-fun make-and-take crafting activities for kids, free of charge!
Cosplay is highly encouraged!
Two words: food trucks! Like last year, we'll have delicious foodstuffs available outside Hangar 30.
So what are you waiting for? Pre-register on Eventbrite and RSVP on Facebook to get a sneak peek of each and every one of our exhibitors!
See you there!
